Healthcare providers who work in hospitals such as nurses, midwives and (emergency) physicians, as well as healthcare professionals such as general practitioners, psychologists and healthcare assistants, are often under high pressure.
This makes them vulnerable to stress, anxiety and other mental problems. This has become increasingly clear in recent years – during and in the aftermath of the covid pandemic.
