The weekend ‘Stress and Mindful Living’ is intended to increase mental flexibility in dealing with daily stressful challenges. In addition, this has a beneficial effect on the interaction with the people around you and on the balance of your work and personal life.
Scientific research has shown that taking a multi-day course has beneficial effects in dealing with stress and anxiety. For individuals who work in healthcare, education or in the care sector, participating can be extra helpful and provide additional support in working with for example teenagers or the elderly.
Details:
* During this weekend you will learn to arrive in the present moment through various forms of meditation, of which many are based on the MBSR protocol: lying and seated meditation, walking meditation, mindful eating, eco-mindfulness … In addition, we will reflect on recent findings on stress and psychoeducation related to stress. We take into account the latest scientific research.
* It will be possible to get personal guidance during this weekend in the form of feedback, to evaluate together how everything goes, to ask questions …
* For everyone, starting from the age of 16.
* Bilingual: English and Dutch.
* The cost for the weekend: 350 euros + accommodation (paying in different parts is possible).
* When? 23-25/05/2025 (start at 7pm and end at 11am).
* The location will be communicated after registration. We will stay in a beautiful setting in nature.
